Standard catalog lamp are available in 80 W/cm (200W/inch) , 120 W/cm(300W/inch), and more than 260W/cm(600W/inch) ratings and arc lengths from 50mm–3,000mm.Custom designed lamps in special ratings and sizes are available.

UV Lamp life
The medium pressure mercury arc lamps do not typically deteriorate suddenly. Rather the UV output declines gradually, as the UV transparency of the quartz tube body deteriorates. The quartz changes from optically clear quartz to opaque quartz, thus filtering out all useful UV. The rate of decline depending on a number of factors, including the switching frequency of the lamp, UV lamp and electrode cooling efficiency, accurately matched with UV Ballast and control, and the cleanliness of the lamp surface. Since the lamp may operated electrically for many thousands of hours after it ceases to emit adequate UV light , The lamp life is measured in hours of useful UV output rather than electrical of lamp life. When used correctly, TAS UV Lamps will provide 1,000 hours of useful life. All TAS UV Lamps are warranted against manufacturing defects.

   

Medium Pressure Mercury UV Lamp

TAS UV medium pressure mercury lamps , high produces high intensity ultraviolet light. These lamps are well widely used for curing of ink, lacquer and chemical for coatings.

The TAS UV Lamp are manufactured from ultra-pure quartz , virtually free of all impurities , The clear quartz tube GE214 exhibits high transparency to pass ultraviolet light , particularly at the short wave end of spectrum where over 90% of UV energy generated is transmitted through the quartz and then filled with ultra high purity argon 99.9999 % ,The tungsten electrode and molybdenum ribbon are also manufactured from the highest quality materials ensuring long and good reliable lamp life.

Metal Halide Lamp

Metal Halide Lamps are made to emit ultraviolet radiation in the 300 to 400 nm range through the use of carefully measured minute amounts of iron iodide and tin iodide  as the additive mixture.

The high intensity of the output makes these lamps very effective where heavy coatings of material have to be cured.

Lamps loadings are generally 8- and 120 watts/cm and the lamps can be made in the wide range of lengths.

Metal Halide Lamp for Reprographics

 

Metal Halide Lamps supplied to the reprographic industry are dosed with the iodides of iron, tin and gallium. In addition to the lamp’s pseudo-continuum in the 300 to 450 nm range, the gallium adds a strong desirable line at 420 nm.

These lamps can be operated from quarter power to full power using the proper switching circuits. The lamps are available in the 4000 to 7000 watt range.

Rapid Start Lamp

Rapid start lamps are particularly useful in the graphics industry .

  • Provides rapid starting and rapid restarting (No warming up time)
  • Provides full UV output immediately after ignition
  • UV output remains constant during exposure
  • Ozone-free outpu

We provide two types of rapid start lamps : Mercury Lamp and Metal Halide Lamp with gallium.

A  high open circuit voltage is required to start all rapid start lamps.  To prevent electrical shock, the lamp holders must be well-insulated.

Short-Wave Ultraviolet Germicidal Lamp

Short-Wave ultraviolet germicidal lamp is mainly used to kill bacteria and sterilize. It is
widely used in hospitals, catering and service trades, purification and installation, food-making,
kindergartens, animal husbandry, hygiene and antiepidemic, bacterium-killing and sterilization
of drinking water and high-purified water.
